National Institute for Advanced Transportation Technology
An Institute at the University of Idaho in Moscow that offers undergraduate and graduate opportunities in advanced transportation technology research, testing and marketing.

Center for Urban Transportation Research, University of Southern Florida.  
Offers a graduate interdisciplinary transportation program. 

Certificate Program in Transportation Management, UC Davis, California
This program takes a macro-level approach to studying transportation as it relates to planning, policy, legislation, the environment and organizational management. A course in bicycle and pedestrian planning is required.

Sustainable Transportation Educational Materials
NESEA, the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association, offers a wide variety of educational materials for grades K-12 on clean vehicle technology and transportation alternatives. Materials include lesson plans, curricular units, videos and maps. It also offers a searchable catalog of K-12 educational resources that focus on transportation and the environment.

Developed by the U.S. EPA's Transportation Air Quality Center, these web pages offer a centralized collection of educational materials that describe the environmental impacts of a car-oriented lifestyle, highlight the benefits of choosing alternate methods of transportation, and inform individuals about how their actions can make a positive change in air quality.

U.S. EPA Smart Travel Resource Center
This online database serves as a clearinghouse of information on transportation- and air-quality-related public education and information campaigns and programs around the U.S. Many of the programs identified in the database have developed curriculum materials.

Publications

Daniel and His Electric Car
Produced by the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Transportation Technologies, this children's book tells the story of five-year-old Daniel, who goes shopping with his parents and upon learning the benefits, helps choose an electric vehicle as the family's second car.
